What’s with the price increase?

The FlatPack Co. was founded in 2018 by students for students. Until then it was a nightmare organising beds and bedroom furniture when it came time to go flatting. Over the past couple of years, we’ve worked frantically with suppliers, manufacturers, freight companies and design teams to come up with a solution on behalf of New Zealand students.

Three times a year we place orders with our suppliers and send vessels offshore to pick up the goods. The earlier we place orders, the more affordable they are for us. Why? Because it gives our suppliers time to organise raw materials and labour to manufacture the beds and bedroom furniture. The more time we can give them the less it costs us and the students which we order on behalf of, it’s as simple as that.
